The company under the management of RSHB became the owner of 50% of Avito shares. The transaction was carried out as part of a partnership between Rosselkhoznadzor and Kismet Capital Group, the Avito press service said.

The transaction parameters are confidential. The parties are considering the possibility of Avito entering the public capital markets in the future.

According to Ivan Tavrin, founder of Kismet Capital Group, in two and a half years, the number of Avito employees has almost doubled to 11 thousand people. In addition, the company's business has shown impressive growth, including through the emergence and strengthening of new verticals. "Both Kismet and RSHB will continue to support the company's operational team within the framework of the approved strategy and are interested in creating long—term shareholder value for Avito," stressed Tavrin.

The current deal is likely to have no impact on either the company's management or Avito's development plans. At the same time, it should definitely be evaluated positively, since the emergence of a new shareholder in the company gives it a strategic opportunity to enter foreign markets, as well as increases its sustainability," said Eldar Murtazin, a leading analyst at Mobile-review.

In 2022, RSHB financed the acquisition of Avito, as well as arranged settlements and provided a range of consulting services for Kismet. Over the past years, the parties have effectively collaborated on the project, which became the basis for the next stage of the partnership, Avito explained.
