Sber has opened an office in the House of Marine Artists in Crimea

Sberbank has opened an office in Alupka (Republic of Crimea) with an art space in the house of 19th-century marine painter Leonid Blinov. This was announced by the bank's press service.

A wide range of products and services for individuals and legal entities is available in the new full-format office.

"Today, an office of Sber has been opened in the city center ― the first branch in the resort town and the 24th in the Crimea. The office is located in the building where the marine artist Leonid Blinov lived. During the restoration, the historical appearance of the building was restored. Alupka transforms and blossoms. The opening of the bank's office will further enhance the attractiveness of the resort city," said Sergey Aksenov.

In the new office, visitors will be able to see reproductions of Leonid Blinov's paintings. The artist painted about three thousand paintings, most of them are dedicated to the sea. Previously, the building where the artist lived and worked was on the verge of destruction. The restoration was carried out by Sberbank.

"The restoration of Leonid Blinov's house is part of our large—scale landscaping project in Alupka. It is important for this sunny city to be modern and developing, while preserving the history and memory of the great people who lived here. We repaired the facade and tried to recreate the exterior decor. Now every resident or guest of the resort city can receive not only financial services in this unique office, but also get acquainted with reproductions of paintings by the famous marine and battle artist, as well as learn about interesting facts about his biography, the history of the resort city and the entire Southern coast of Crimea," said Anatoly Pesennikov.
